Editor’s Desk: Integrating New Technologies  

We continue to see major shifts on how businesses, IT departments, multiple markets and the office channel will need to adapt or change a lot of their focus in order to remain competitive today.  According to research data from InfoTrends, integration into existing workflows and IT infrastructures will be key in successfully merging three technologies: mobile, cloud and app capabilities - together through business process automation.  These will eventually become standard functionalities across all types of business processes and solutions, whether it is mobile print, document storage, device management, or capture/workflow.  It is becoming apparent to most in the office/document technology space that we need to embrace these areas and learn how to bridge together the paper and paperless world  in a more relevant way.
