Parts Now Launches Seminar Series to Help Dealers Move Their Business Forward & Increase MPS Profits30 Apr, 2012
Middleton, WI— April 2012 - In response to the continued pressures that dealers face to maintain and increase profits, Parts Now has launched a 1-day seminar series designed to help dealers protect their margins by cutting unnecessary costs and evaluating their product, service and support offerings to ensure they are profitable and sustainable.
The seminar series, titled “Move Your Business Forward: Tactics to Increase Your MPS Profits—Now,” will focus on specific tactics dealers can use to evaluate their programs and make changes to areas that are draining profits. Unlike many seminars that take a 30,000-foot view of the industry, Parts Now will take a 10-foot view to demonstrate actions that can be taken inside a dealer’s business to increase profits now. Topics will include isolating cost centers in customer fleets, managing the most common machines in the field with low-cost tactics, adding managed services to your portfolio using turnkey offerings from expert vendors, and more.
“We understand the constant pressures that dealers are facing, whether they are in MPS or not,” said Matt McLeish, Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “We are through with chasing strategy and are committed to bringing dealers tactics that can be used right now to decrease their costs and increase their margins. Our seminar content has been carefully built based on proven experience and track records of our speakers who have helped dealers overcome common obstacles in their program”, McLeish stated.
“Another important component of our seminar series: accessibility. With a $99 registration fee and strategic locations across the Eastern United States, any dealership, regardless of their scope or size, will have an opportunity to attend any one of the locations and greatly benefit from the content.”
In June 2012, speakers from a select group of progressive industry providers will be brought together for three seminars across the Eastern United States:
• June 6: Washington, DC
• June 14: Philadelphia, PA
• June 26: Boston, MA
A post-event webinar will be held on July 11 to provide attendees with an additional opportunity to have their questions answered in an open Q&A session with the presenters.
“We are excited to play a role in this seminar series by sharing financing best practices our most successful dealers have leveraged from us,” said Jennie Fisher, Senior Vice President & General Manager of the GreatAmerica Office Equipment Group.
“During the series, we will be discussing how our bundled billing capabilities have helped printer dealers and resellers in various stages of their business development. We also plan to show dealers how they can get closer to their customers by providing broader IT services. Our Collabrance™ offering can help remove major capital barriers that slow down a managed services strategy and we will demonstrate this tactic with attendees.”
Attendee seats will fill up quickly. To view the agenda and to register for the event, contact Parts Now at 800-886-6688 x1127 and speak to Kathy Gent, or log onto http://partsnow.tangentmtw.com/
