What happens in Vegas, doesn’t stay in Vegas where this team is concerned. We recently got back from an exciting three-day trip to Las Vegas for ITEX 2014, the premiere conference for office equipment dealers. The event took place March 11-13 at the Rio All-Suite Resort & Casino, where industry leaders met to share their thoughts and discuss the future of the OE industry. ITEX Strategy Forum Presentation: "How to Accelerate Profitable Growth in Managed IT and Cloud Services with a Proven Business Model" - Presented by: Michael George, CEO of Continuum. Our CEO, Michael George, presented to a packed room about IT industry best practices. In addition to advocating for the MSP business model, Michael discussed how hardware is becoming irrelevant and recommended businesses adapt in order to stay relevant. If they want to be successful, SMBs must leverage high-value managed IT opportunities and recognize the expanding cloud services landscape.

Our last day at ITEX 2014 was truly rewarding. Our partner, Gordon Flesch Company, won the imageSource Magazine Perfect Image Award (PIA) 2014 for Outstanding Managed Services Program. Achieve 60% Margins in Managed Services: A Revolutionary New Business Model for Office Equipment Dealers
Continuum also presented a revolutionary business model, which was developed with Chris Ryne and Mitch Morgan from Growth Achievement Partners. This model was developed specifically for the office equipment vertical, and provides dealers with the opportunity to achieve 60% margins on each contract sold with managed IT services. Many office equipment dealers are looking to make the leap to managed IT services in 2014, and our model was a huge talking point at our booth and among event attendees.
ITEX is the largest expo in the Channel. We met with many dealers enthusiastic about adding Managed IT Services to their businesses.
