Bay Copy Promotes 20-year Veteran Carrie Boulay-Nickerson to Position of Sales Manager; Will Focus on MPS

Rockland, MA - January 16, 2012 - Bay Copy, a 39-year old business specializing in office document solutions and print management services, has promoted Carrie Boulay-Nickerson of Hanson, MA to the position of Sales Manager.

In this new role, she will work with Director of Sales Sharon A. Mutrie on recruiting and training a new sales team, as the company continues to expand into the field of Managed Print Services. She will coordinate and manage the daily activities of sales team members, assisting them with prospecting calls, proposal generation, installation of equipment and training at the client site.

The twenty-year industry veteran joined Bay Copy in 1988 and most recently held the position Major Account Executive,  having won several company awards for excellence in sales, including the “#1 in Sales” designation and the “Million Dollar Club” for sales that exceeded $1 million annually. She will continue to oversee and manage a number of the firm’s larger accounts, including Ocean Spray, Partylite, and Jordan Hospital. 

She will also work with new sales representatives and print consultants to facilitate training. Boulay-Nickerson recently completed training, both online and in person at a Chicago area facility that specializes in Managed Print Services.

“The industry has changed significantly in two decades,” she said, noting that the trend is toward Managed Print Services, also known as the practice of designing document management systems that provide the lowest possible per-page cost. “Our industry has also seen significant advancements in helping businesses conserve not only on cost but on quantity of paper used,” she said, adding, “Another important topic in today’s world is the issue of document security, and how to properly dispose of the hard drives that copiers contain, which may have information stored that needs to be cleaned.” She continued,” When we recruit a sales professional, there is much more to it in today’s world than even when I got my start. The Carver, MA native resides in Hanson with her husband, Shawn, and son Griffin. Her outside interests and activities include soccer, basketball and baseball.
