Compass Releases Compass Sherpa Version 3

Boise, ID – April, 2012 – Compass Sales Solutions, the leader in Sales Opportunity Management software, announces the highly anticipated release of Compass Sherpa Version 3.  With hundreds of new enhancements, this version will be available to current and new Compass Sherpa support subscribers as of April 1st, 2012.  

Key Benefits to Sales Reps include a redesigned Account Activity section allowing the user to easily search and sort activities, and the ability to export and import TCO data from Excel.  The newly enhanced Asset Strategy and MPS Printer Pricer section allows users new views and the ability to assign different profit margins and fill percentages to individual machines, use a combination of OEM and Compatible cartridges based on individual machine as well as choose OEM and Compatible coverage based on color and mono, and the ability to back calculate costs based on desired GP, Sales Cost, or CPP rate.  The updated look also includes the ability to customize the Home Screen graphs based on your sales financial objectives. 

Notable enhancements in the Administrative area include a more comprehensive way to transfer accounts between users, and the new MPS Price Book.  The MPS Price Book includes the addition of 20 new cost fields, including drum cartridges, fuser and maintenance kits, fields for individual color costs, as well as 10 customizable fields for miscellaneous dealer costs.  Ease of use has been enhanced with added reporting options to easily compare different supplier’s prices, a “choose best pricing” feature, and most remarkably the ability to automatically upload pricing from the top suppliers.
