New Windsor NY, July 2015 – DocuWare, a leader in the ECM industry, has tested and certified the Canon imageFORMULA DR-C240 with the latest version of its software, DocuWare 6.7.
The imageFORMULA DR-C240 scanner quickly and easily integrates into a DocuWare installation, allowing users to effortlessly turn paper documents into digital files. Documents can be scanned in color, B&W, or grayscale and simultaneously shared via email, stored on a network, saved on USB drives, sent to networked MFPs, or sent to a network folder which DocuWare monitors to automatically deliver the scanned images to a virtual ‘in basket’ for further processing.
The Canon imageFORMULA DR-C240 scanner provides color scanning up to 45 pages per minute (ppm)* with capabilities of handling documents of various shapes and sizes. Digital images from this scanner can also provide a fully searchable PDF for filing in DocuWare.
With DocuWare’s ability to manage any type of document, regardless of format or source, in one central document pool, one search will result in all the records needed for any business transaction - available on a desk top, tablet or smartphone. Secure authorized access allows these digital files to be accessible for increased collaboration and to be used in automated workflows for workgroups.
