Dealer community will benefit from extended alignment throughout supply chain
Fort Worth, TX — December 03, 2013 - ECi Software Solutions (ECiSolutions.com), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, and S.P. Richards Company, a leading provider of business products to office products resellers, today announced that they have extended their strategic alliance for the benefit of their mutual customers. Building on an agreement ECi and S.P. Richards originally entered into in 2010, both parties will continue to invest in new software functionality designed to enhance and improve the independent dealer experience, including joint development on ECi’s premier e-commerce platform, ECinteractivePLUS™, in order to provide world-class e-marketing services with robust data analytics capabilities.
Also as part of the extended relationship, SPR item files will be integrated with the ECi La Crosse™ and e-automate® ERP systems in addition to their current integration with the OMD ERP system for office equipment dealers. These integrations will provide an efficient and streamlined purchasing process for SPR printer/copier dealers using the ECi La Crosse and e-automate platforms. Integration with the ECi TeamDesign® contract furniture software is also in progress. All three integrations will be launched in Q1 of 2014.
