MPSA Leadership Award Nominations Jan. 31 Deadline Approaching12 Jan, 2012
USA -January 9, 2012 - The MPSA announces that the deadline is s approaching to nominate outstanding managed print services users and providers for the annual MPSA Leadership Awards. There is no charge to nominate a company for the MPSA Leadership Awards. Winners will be notified in early May, and awards will be presented at the Photizo Transform Conference in Orlando, Florida, May 24, 2012.
“Leadership Awards winners gain valuable visibility and credibility across the marketplace. We encourage any organization that considers itself at the forefront of this dynamic industry to submit a nomination,” said MPSA President Joe Barganier.
Seven Categories of Nominations
Awards will be presented in seven categories, reflecting the diversity of the managed print services industry. Forms can be found below or at the Managed Print Services Association website, http://yourmpsa.org.
-Direct MPS Provider– OEMs or any branch or subsidiary of an OEM.
-Indirect MPS Provider– an independently owned reseller whether single or multi-brand based; includes consumable resellers or distributors.
-End User– An organization which has implemented an MPS program either on their own or with the help of a provider; the emphasis will be on how the --End User themselves implemented the project.
-Independent MSP– An organization that offers other services than equipment resell eg IT services companies or facility management organizations.
-Software Provider– Any company that develops its own software for use in the MPS industry whether as an infrastructure or end user application.
-Professional Services Provider– Any organization that does not sell MPS but a service to the industry such as consultancy, research, leasing or training.
-Regional Provider– Many of the current members are US-based but there is a growing international group. As the international membership grows, a regional award will be given to any company in EMEA, South America, and Asia Pacific (including India) that has an outstanding story to tell.
Winners Judged By MPS Peers
The nomination forms evaluate MPS programs in six categories, ranging from the scope of the program or service, to the problem solving and best practices approach that was used. All submissions are received in confidence and will be reviewed and treated strictly within the confines of the Award process. MPSA Board Members are available to advise on what metrics best represent a nominated project and to act as a sounding board for entries. (Board members are excluded from the review process for categories that may present a conflict of interest.)
