Operation Build Presents: Labor Of Love - a Ronald McDonald House Makeover with Xerox

10 Sep, 2015

COCONUT CREEK, Fla., September 10, 2015 – This week: Insight Television Productions is proud to present Part Four in a special four part mini-series of Operation Build: Labor of Love a Ronald McDonald House Makeover. On this week’s episode, Xerox joins the project to help with the office space renovations.
The staff office at the Ronald McDonald House will be getting a fresh new look and an office technology transformation courtesy of Xerox Corporation. The technology transformation is based upon several Xerox® ConnectKey® Technology-enabled devices, including the WorkCentre 3655 black-and-white printer, the WorkCentre 6655 and the WorkCentre 7830 Color Multifunction Printers (MFP). In addition, several ConnectKey Apps on the devices will help streamline commonly used workflows to simplify the day-to-day operations of the RMDH staff and bring new conveniences to families who are staying at RMDH, balancing sometimes stressful health situations with the need to remain connected to their jobs and families. These convenient workflows include mobile print capabilities that enable the staff and residents to print from any mobile device to any of the Xerox machines, for greater convenience and flexibility in printing mission-critical healthcare-related or other important documents.

Xerox ConnectKey is an award-winning technology ecosystem that provides a simple, secure way to get critical information to where it is needed. “With ConnectKey, Xerox is thinking beyond the hardware and building technology and software solutions that solve the bigger problems organizations – such as the RMDH - are having with their documents,” said Siddhartha “Sid” Bhattacharya, head of Technology Marketing & Competitive Intelligence Office Systems Business Group, Global Technology Delivery Group, Xerox Corporation “With ConnectKey, the MFP becomes a bridge that connects people with the information they need across devices, locations and systems, fundamentally improving the way they work to increase productivity and efficiency.”

“The staff at the Ronald McDonald House gives so much of their time and energy to helping families through a very stressful time,” said Lysa Liemer, executive producer of Operation Build. “It’s a wonderful thing to be able to work with Xerox to give the deserving staff a much needed tech upgrade.”

You can catch Xerox on Operation Build’s Labor Of Love Special Saturday, September 12, 2015 7:30 a.m. ET/PT on the History Channel and again Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 a.m. ET/PT on the H2.

About Operation Build
Operation Build travels all over the country discovering great home improvement concepts in renovations, remodels, and do-it-yourself projects. Part history, part reality, part building technology; each episode has a project objective where our host &“GM”, Alexi Panos and her building team are tasked to complete, while being under a renovation deadline and a homeowner’s need to complete a project on time, before a big event. Alexi’s build team is led by award winning designer Alena Capra and veteran build expert Andrew Dan-Jumbo. Whether the team is picking up the pieces and rebuilding after a disaster such as a fire or flood, or coming to the rescue on a remodel gone wrong, the Operation Build team gets the job done.
