Samsung Joins Managed Print Services Association as Newest Foundation Member

28 Sep, 2011

Columbus, OH – September 22, 2011 – Samsung has joined the Managed Print Services Association (MPSA) as the group’s newest Foundation member. Samsung is one of the world's leading electronics companies, specializing in digital appliances and media, semiconductors, memory and system integration. The company’s innovative and top quality products and processes are recognized worldwide.

“As an MPSA Foundation member, we can extend the value of this membership to our dealer and reseller community. The information, best practices and knowledge base that are available are invaluable,” said Peter Richardson, Manager, Printer Marketing, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. Enterprise Business Division. “Foundation membership demonstrates our commitment to support dealers and resellers that address SMB, corporate and enterprise accounts with MPS. As a 100 percent channel sales organization with no direct sales, Samsung really reflects and respects the nature of the MPSA.”

Samsung has a complete portfolio of printers and multi-functional peripherals, along with unique software and technology. The world’s largest technology company, Samsung also holds the number two position worldwide in patents. Samsung shows strong commitment to dealers and resellers who offer managed print services
A Platform for Leadership
“It’s great news for the MPSA to have the support of a global player of the caliber of Samsung. The company brings an extensive understanding of technology and the marketplace, as well as a strong network of dealers and resellers, who in turn will benefit from greater opportunities to grow their MPS experience,” said MPSA President, Joe Barganier.

“As a company dedicated to the channel, we feel it is important that the industry has an independent voice of the reseller, manufacturer and the end-user. MPSA is that independent voice, as well as a forum for dealers and solution providers to engage with leading technology companies and hardware manufacturers,” Richardson continued. “By making the commitment to being a Foundation Member of MPSA, we want the community at large to know that we are committed to being a leader in the B2B print space by continuing to introduce leading product, innovative solutions and attractive programs.”
