Strategy Development Announces First 2016 Strategic Sales Management Workshop

12 Nov, 2015

Bryn Mawr, PA - November 2015 – After having four consecutive sellouts of the Strategic Sales Management Workshop, Strategy Development, a leading management consulting and advanced sales training firm, has scheduled its first session for the New Year on January 19-20, 2016 at the Courtyard Marriott San Francisco Airport.

The SD Strategic Sales Management Workshop was designed to provide sales leaders a framework, process and tools focused to developing sales professionals while helping those sales professionals uncover new business and expand the share of wallet with current customers.  All sales leaders, or sales professionals moving into a management position, will benefit greatly from this interactive workshop.  They will leave with a clear understanding of activities, processes and metrics to guide and measure their team's success.  The workshop will be taught by Tom Callinan, Managing Principal.

Some of the topics covered in this intense, two-full-day workshop include:

  • Recruiting and selecting the correct team members
  • Structuring an effective initial training program
  • Territory and quota structure that maximizes potential and provides measurement
  • Structuring manager's field time to ensure maximum development for the sales professional
  • How the manager should work with each sales professional to develop a growing pipeline
  • Metrics to measure and achieve success against business goals.
  • How to write developmental plans specific to each sales employee
  • And much more!

“Our business is changing dramatically and to be successful it is imperative that you have educated sales managers," said Callinan.  "The sales manager’s job is one of the toughest roles within your company and it is imperative that they know how to develop, manage and retain their sales team.   Our Strategic Sales Management Workshop will not only teach your sales managers how to develop great sales people, but it will also show them how to significantly grow their business."

The comprehensive workshop continues to be met with rave reviews:

John Konynenbelt, VP of Sales for Applied Imaging, said, “In the 26 years I’ve been managing, the SD Strategic Sales Management Workshop is simply the most comprehensive, yet executable, management approach in the business technology industry that I have come across!  It’s specifically tailored for our business and helps our managers focus on the development of their respective teams and the all-important performance benchmarks.  If you’re looking for a partner to help you get the most out of your team, Strategy Development is who to call!”

And John Kutcha of SolutionOne had this to add, “The Strategic Sales Management workshop [not only covered] the complete sales process to get wider and deeper in our existing accounts, [but also helped me to] build an expansion plan by sales territory.  Now we can execute a plan to grow marketshare.”

Jason Bradshen of Marco Inc. remarked that the workshop had, “Great content and real life applications that I can take back and implement immediately.”
