TriMega reflects on a Successful INTEC Show, Ignite 2015, held in conjunction with ITEX 201530 Mar, 2015
ROSEMONT, IL—(March 30, 2015): For the first time, TriMega Purchasing Association partnered with ITEX 2015 for its 2015 INTEC Show. The event, entitled Ignite 2015, took place earlier this month at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL and was hailed as a success for member and supplier participants.
Ignite 2015, focused on TriMega’s INTEC members and other technology-focused resellers, MPS dealers and imaging supply and equipment specialists who are members of TriMega – and took place on the front end of ITEX National Conference & Expo, which is the largest event in the office equipment and solutions channel representing dealers, resellers, and solution providers across the globe.
With 75 participants, Ignite 2015 featured a series of individual “one-on-one” scheduled meetings and networking opportunities for participating members and suppliers, as well as best practice exchange sessions, seminars and dealer networking events.
“This year’s INTEC show held in partnership with ITEX provided a powerful forum to connect our INTEC members with leading manufacturers, software partners and wholesalers for business development discussions, idea sharing and more,” commented Brian Stevenson, TriMega’s Director of MPS. “With a very concentrated day-and-a-half format, we were able to create a productive atmosphere where all participants were keenly focused on developing opportunities for growth, which is critically important in today’s dynamic imaging and tech marketplace,” Stevenson continued.
Ignite 2015 also included recognition of key suppliers and top members. These included:
• Top Dealer Growth Award was awarded to Genesis Technologies, of Northbrook, IL
• INTEC MVP Award to Governor’s Business Solutions of Detroit, MI
• INTEC also awarded top honors to Supplies Network as Distributor of the Year (for the third year in a row)
• Hewlett-Packard Company was recognized as the group’s Supplier of the Year.
“At a time when it’s so important to share ideas, challenge the norm and be aggressive in attacking new markets and new opportunities, Ignite 2015 delivered on this goal,” commented Sean Allen of The Data House, an INTEC member. “And when Ignite concluded, for participants to be able to continue the quest of learning and growth by attending ITEX was ideal. It was time very well spent for me and my business,” he concluded.
