technicians cross-trained in different areas. IT training can bring your
technicians what they need to bring your company to a new level. This will allow
you to offer new services to your existing customers, which will lead to
increasing revenue. Offering IT training to your technicians can also help
increase employee retention. You can offer it either as required training, or
optional training on their own time. Either way, you are helping them to further
their knowledge and credentials as well as helping your company to stay on the

certifies the competence of entry-level computer service technicians. Network+
measures the technical knowledge of networking professionals with 18-24 months
experience in the IT industry. i-NET+ targets certification is for people who
can demonstrate a baseline of technical knowledge for Internet related areas.
CDIA measures the competency of professionals in the imaging industry. Server+
deals with advanced PC Hardware issues. Linux+ measures skills for people with
at least 6 months of Linux experience.

MCSE credential is one of the most widely recognized technical certifications in
the industry—a credential in high demand. By earning the premier MCSE
credential, individuals are demonstrating that they have the skills necessary to

of the most advanced Microsoft Windows platform and Microsoft server products. The
MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) credential is for individuals who have

networking. Certified Novell Administrators (CNAs) are the global standard for

which will help your technicians, get certified. Take some time to research each
of these websites and training programs for yourself before making a decision on
your IT training. Most of them offer a free training course, or training module
to show how they are set up. Do not purchase anything until you are sure this
will help in preparation for the certification exams.

you locate the nearest testing center, they can sign up to take the exam and
become certified IT professionals. The
exams are taken on computer. No
paper or any support materials, such as books, etc., are allowed inside the exam
room. After you are through, the
exam result comes on the screen. A print out is also given. If you have not
cleared the exam in the first attempt, then you can take a second attempt after
one week. Thereafter, each attempt will be after two weeks. It is wise to take
several practice exams before taking the actual test. These exams can be found
at several of the sites listed above, as well as in your IBT and CBT courseware.
