Jet Tec: A Vision of the Future

Dynamic Cassette International (DCI), located in
Boston, England is celebrating its 20th anniversary in manufacturing. Since
1983, DCI has proven itself to be a market leader and grown to become one of the
largest manufacturers of compatible ink cartridges in the world.

In 1996, DCI introduced “Jet Tec” compatible
cartridges to the office supplies market. The Jet Tec Brand was designed to
stand out in the crowed compatibles market was the consumer’s alternative to
the OEM. As the Jet Tec name and product range grew, the customer base of
overseas distributors expanded and to date is available in over 55 countries
around the globe. With corporate offices in England and Germany, DCI/Jet Tec
expanded once again in 2002 with the opening of a third corporate office in the
Las Vegas, Nevada. Jet Tec USA was born.

With every new product developed, Jet Tec reaffirms
its commitment to quality and value. Quality stems from Jet Tec’s ability to
control all aspects of the manufacturing process.
Jet Tec builds and designs everything in-house. From the design of
products and the manufacturing of inks to creation of the actual molds for
production, Jet Tec’s dedication to excellence ensures that all its products
meet or exceed the original manufacturer’s specifications. “Nothing leaves
the building until we know it’s perfect,” said John Studholme, owner and
President of DCI/Jet Tec. “The Jet Tec policy is a 100 percent guarantee of
product quality and dependability.”

Over the past seven years, the Jet Tec production
line has grown from one filling machine to more than 125 fully computer-operated
filling stations producing thousands of cartridges per day. Pre-assembly
stations, including ultra-sonic welders, foaming, sealing and clipping machines
have been designed and developed by DCI to speed manufacturing time and maximize

“Our cartridges are not just copies, they are a
complete redevelopment of the original product,” commented Studholme when
asked about research and technology. “Jet Tec’s dedicated staff of engineers
and designers are constantly upgrading products to compete with the growing
market to give the consumer a quality alternative to OEMs.” From the beginning
of the “chipped” inkjet cartridge, Jet Tec has produced several solutions
including the Ink Level Restore System (ILRS) for reprogramming chips and a
clone microprocessor chip which developed into a unique technology creating 30
percent extra ink volume. Jet Tec has also redesigned the ASIC mini chip used by
OEMs with its own technology to offer a completely new design.

The latest development from Jet Tec comes with the
introduction of new “Photo Ink Cartridges” and “Photo Paper.” The line
is specifically designed to print the highest quality of photographs taken with
a digital camera. The new range is securely sealed in bubble packaging to allow
the consumer to view the product while providing dealers an opportunity to
maximize sales.

Dealers offering these products can expect a huge
consumer demand as it gives the consumer the ability and confidence to take that
special picture and print as many copies as they wish without the normal expense
of photo developing.
