2.5 Million Meter Reads and Counting

Boise, ID – Print Tracker, a provider of meter read software, announced that its Print Tracker™ software recently gathered the 2.5 millionth meter read. Print Tracker is a non-invasive software solution for gathering meter reads, toner levels, and service alert information from copiers and printers.  Installation generally requires little or no involvement from the onsite IT department.  The meter data passes securely through firewalls using the HTTPS protocol, similar to how a web browser communicates with a banking website. Print Tracker™ is used in banks, hospitals, and schools for both pre-sales volume assessments as well as post-sales billing. The meter data can be stored on Print Tracker servers or on a dealer’s database server.

Meter data gathered by Print Tracker™ can be automatically put into a dealer’s billing database by the Data Processor software. LMS NextGen, OMD, e-automate, Great Plains or any ODBC-compliant billing database may be updated.

"We are pleased to see the continued growth of Print Tracker usage within the dealer community," stated Lance Hale, President, Print Tracker. "The ease of use and excellent customer support certainly set Print Tracker apart from other solutions."
