Amcom Office Systems Wins Global Imaging Systems President's Award for Second Year in a Row
IMPERIAL, PA. and TAMPA, FL (July 1, 2008) - Amcom Office Systems, a Xerox company based in Imperial, Pa., won Global Imaging Systems' President's Trophy for the third time - and the second consecutive year - at the recent 13th Annual Global Leaders Conference. The President's Trophy is awarded annually to the Global core company with outstanding sales and operating performance.
"The continued success by Amcom President Dick Peterson and his team is setting the bar even higher for Global companies around the country," said Michael Shea, president and chief executive officer of Global Imaging Systems.
The theme of this year's conference was 'Small Change, Big Difference,' reflecting the acquisition of Global by Xerox Corporation a year ago. "Amcom's performance demonstrates that they're not only among the best in the business at helping their Western Pennsylvania customers excel, but also that they handled the transition to the robust Xerox product offering without missing a beat," Shea added.
"This recognition reflects the tremendous effort that every single employee puts into their job every day to support our customers," said Peterson. "We have a superb team here, and an extraordinary support system through the Global/Xerox organization."
