Boise Office Equipment Now Offers Xerox Products; Becomes Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Xerox
BOISE, ID - Boise Office Equipment now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation and has added Xerox document technology and services to its offerings for customers in the Treasure Valley and the Magic Valley areas of Idaho. This follows Xerox's $1.5 billion acquisition this month of Global Imaging Systems, Inc., Boise Office Equipment's parent company.
Boise Office Equipment retains its name and locally focused independent approach to sales, service and customer support. In addition to current offerings, Boise Office Equipment is ramping up to provide a broad range of Xerox systems and supplies. These offerings include Xerox's launch this year of 16 competitively priced products designed for offices of any size, such as new WorkCentre multifunction devices that print, copy, fax and scan, as well as Phaser solid ink color printers and multifunction devices.
"By aligning with Xerox, Boise Office Equipment will continue to strengthen our customer relationships with the breadth and quality of Xerox offerings while retaining the people, portfolio and business model that have contributed to our success," said Mike Shannahan, president, Boise Office Equipment. "We'll continue doing what we do best: Applying our entrepreneurial spirit to developing deep relationships with customers and delivering excellent local sales, service and support."
Boise Office Equipment became part of Global in April 2006. The company
offers state-of-the-art Konica Minolta, Kyocera and now Xerox multifunctional
products and markets print management programs which include the support of HP
and Kyocera printers.
