Brother Steps-up Office and Commercial Printer Line with New 30PPM Workgroup Laser Printers
Brother International Corporation recently introduced the HL-7050 and the network-ready HL-7050N commercial-class office laser printers. These latest additions to Brother's award-winning printer line make excellent choices for growing businesses or connected workgroups looking to increase productivity and reduce processing time. First customer shipments are slated to begin in late December 2002.
These printers feature print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute, 1200x1200 dpi print quality and come standard with 32MB of memory. They also feature a wide array of expansion options and productivity enhancements. The HL-7050 and HL-7050N have estimated street prices of $999 and $1,099, respectively.
The introduction of Brother's HL-7050 and HL-7050N represents the company's continued expansion into business, corporate and commercial markets. The products' powerful business functions and sleek commercial design - which include a two-line, 3-color backlit LCD display and intuitive user control panel along with a wide range of expansion options - make these printers competitive in the commercial business market.
In addition to their up to 30ppm print speed, the HL-7050 and HL-7050N continue the Brother tradition of delivering both the value-added features and ease of use that consumers have come to expect from Brother products.
The HL-7050 Series printers offer 1200x1200 dpi print quality, 32MB of memory, 600 sheets of input paper capacity and 500 sheets of output paper capacity. The HL-7050 and HL-7050N include CompactFlash® storage capability and N-Up, poster and watermark print modes. The printers have low running costs with individual, easy to replace toner cartridge and drum units; the cost per page is estimated to be 1.2 cents (at suggested retail price of supplies). In addition, the HL-7050 and HL-7050N offer toner save and power save modes.
A two line, 3-color backlit LCD display with an enhanced control panel makes setting up and configuring the printers a breeze. The 3-color LCD enables users to instantly view the status of the printer using green, yellow and red colors to communicate its status.
Moreover, the LCD display is incorporated into an intuitive user control panel with convenient features such as one-button job reprint, job cancel, secure print and a scrolling menu.
