BTA’s Channel's Choice Ballots Due by Dec. 23, 2009

Kansas City, MO (December 2009) - Each year, the Business Technology Association (BTA; www.bta.org) provides a comprehensive look at the performance of office technology hardware vendors/manufacturers, based on the balloting of independent dealers. The results determine the winners for the association's annual Channel's Choice awards program. They are also used to produce a comprehensive report, made available to BTA members and non-members who cast a ballot and request the report.

Ballots may be cast by both BTA member and non-member dealers online at www.bta.org/2010ChannelsChoiceBallot or by clicking on the Channel's Choice logo appearing on the home page of BTA’s web site, www.bta.org. Completed ballots are due to BTA by Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.

The aggregated results of this confidential ballot will identify the vendors that score the highest in the four sub-categories: Product Line, Distribution, Inventory and Corporate Support. At the BTA Reception on March 3, 2010, during ITEX 2010, awards will be presented to the winners in these four categories. In addition, awards will be presented to the vendors receiving the highest scores for overall performance as a primary and secondary product line.

Those BTA dealer members who receive a ballot in the mail may fax them to BTA at (816) 941-4838, return them in the postage-paid envelope that is provided or e-mail them to info@bta.org. All participating dealers can receive a copy of the 2010 Channel's Choice Report by providing their contact information with ballot submission. The report is to be compiled for BTA by Industry Analysts Inc. and will be available spring 2010.

For more information, call BTA at (800) 247-2176 or e-mail the association at info@bta.org.
