BTA Southeast District to Host Annual Fall Colors Conference Oct. 22-23
Kansas City, MO (Oct. 2010) - On Oct. 22-23, at the Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa in Waynesville, N.C., the Southeast District of the Business Technology Association (BTA, www.bta.org) will host its annual Fall Colors Conference, which will feature two round-table discussions, three education sessions, exhibiting sponsors and various networking opportunities.
The Fall Colors Conference will kick off on Friday, Oct. 22, with two round-table discussions, “Accounts Receivable & Collections,” moderated by Terry Chapman, BTA’s national vice president, and “Leasing,” moderated by Lori McGowan, vice president of sales at GreatAmerica Leasing Corp. The discussions will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. A welcoming reception will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., giving attendees the opportunity to network with peers and visit with exhibiting sponsors.
On Saturday, Oct. 23, a breakfast buffet will be held from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m., followed by three education sessions, which will end at 12:30 p.m. Attendees will have the afternoon free to explore the Waynesville area and enjoy the fall colors, play a round of golf or just relax.
The Saturday education sessions will include: “Assessing the Health of Your Dealership,” with Jim Kahrs, Prosperity Plus Management Consulting Inc.; “Scanning as a Service: A New Revenue Option,” with Byron Aulick, president of DataVault Inc.; and “Are You Certifiable?” with Rock Janecek, BTA national president.
