BTA Southeast to Host Orlando Conference April 4-5
Kansas City, Mo — The Southeast District of the Business Technology Association (BTA) is hosting “Educating U,” an education and networking conference April 4-5 in Orlando, Fla. Dealers from an eleven state area will gather to attend a welcome reception Friday evening, continuing education workshops Saturday morning, golf or regional activities Saturday afternoon, then cocktails and dinner at Universal Studios that evening.
The featured speaker on Saturday will be Tom Johnson, chairman of Global Imaging Systems. Johnson founded Global in 1994 and, over 13 years, built the company up to 4,900 employees with 21 regional core companies. Weiss will present “The Fundamentals of Web-Based Marketing,” which will include key elements and fundamental building blocks to a successful campaign.
Participants will have an optional interactive luncheon with Bob Goldberg, general counsel for BTA, on Saturday. Goldberg will be available to answer questions and relate his views on recent industry events.
The sponsors of the conference are as follows: Color Imaging, ECi, InfoDynamics, Leaf Financial, MWA Intelligence, Muratec America and Supplies Network.
The $150 member registration fee not only includes the education seminars presented by Johnson and Weiss, but it also includes the Friday evening welcome reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel — International Drive/Jamaican Court and dinner with free park admission to Universal Studios on Saturday evening.
