Buffalo Technology & Kyocera Mita Team to Offer Wireless Networking
“The mobile workforce is quickly becoming a sign of the times,” stated Morikazu Sano, vice president of Buffalo Technology. “With Buffalo's 'office anywhere' wireless solution, Kyocera Mita dealers can offer enterprise and SME users the ultimate network device allowing connectivity anytime from anywhere.”
“Kyocera Mita is the first company in the digital imaging industry to offer complete wireless connectivity for printers and multi-functional products,” said Mike Pietrunti, vice president, marketing, Kyocera Mita. “This partnership with Buffalo Technology will provide dealers with a vast array of reliable and cost-effective wireless products. Including an Ethernet Media Converter for wireless scanning and an AirStation Bridge Access Point for a flexible wireless network design.”
Buffalo will provide a full suite of their high-performance wireless products for Kyocera's sophisticated fleet of multi-functional devices. Kyocera Mita's industry-leading launch of the IB-22 embedded IEEE802.11b wireless network interface offers customers the ability to integrate into new or current networks, remain mobile and flexible while allowing their network to expand and/or move without additional costs. Because Buffalo offers both 802.11b and pre-standard 802.11g, interoperability is seamless between the companies' respective products.
Buffalo's “office anywhere” solutions are available through Tech Data. All of Kyocera Mita's multi-functional and printer products are available through Kyocera Mita certified dealers and resellers.
