Building Tools and Services Available Through SMBAccess

Tech Data Corporation recently conducted the second in its series of SMBAccess Partner Connection Conferences in Houston, bringing together dozens of IT resellers and vendor business partners targeting small-to-midsize businesses (SMBs). SMBAccess is Tech Data's comprehensive array of exclusive offerings available free of charge to the thousands of resellers supported by the distributor's SMB Sales Division. Since SMBAccess was introduced last year, nearly 1,500 SMB resellers have taken advantage of the program; more than $50 million in credit increases have been extended to eligible resellers; additional Partner Connection Conferences have been scheduled; and dozens of exclusive offerings have been established, with more to be introduced this summer.

-- Industry Expert Webinars provide resellers with insight into how they can capitalize on the latest industry trends such as building a managed services practice, developing compensation plans for their sales teams and enhancing their customer service.
-- Monthly Promotions from participating vendor business partners provide resellers with exclusive SMB product incentives and rebates, helping to build attach rates and margins.
-- SMB Financial Services Team works closely with SMB Sales to ensure resellers have adequate credit lines and are informed about alternative financing opportunities. Programs available through third-party financing providers such as end-user leasing enable SMB resellers to pursue new business without impacting their credit lines or ability to support existing customers.
-- Tech Data Services Webinars enable resellers to easily navigate the extensive services and resources available to them as Tech Data customers.
