CAP Ventures, InfoTrends, & GSM Consolidate Brands to InfoTrends/CAP Ventures

Weymouth, MA—May 11, 2004—CAP Ventures has announced the consolidation of its three companies under one brand name. The companies of CAP Ventures, InfoTrends Research Group, and GSM Corporation will now be collectively known as InfoTrends/CAP Ventures. This name change creates a unified global brand for the powerful consulting firms.

In 2002, CAP Ventures acquired InfoTrends Research Group, a highly respected market research and consulting firm tracking the digital photography, photo printing, Internet imaging, and image scanning markets. This acquisition solidified CAP Ventures' position as the industry leader in the business communications and imaging markets by adding expertise in consumer imaging.

 In 2004, CAP Ventures expanded its global reach by acquiring GSM Corporation, a research and consulting company for the Japanese and Chinese digital imaging, office equipment, and On Demand printing markets. By expanding its physical presence in Asia, CAP Ventures now provides clients with a unique global perspective based on research and analysis from experienced staff members working in the local Asian, North American, and European markets.
