Captovation Announces Improved Support for the DocuWare 5 Document Management System
MINNEAPOLIS, - Captovation, a developer of document and check capture software, announces direct integration support between its Captovation Capture product suite and DocuWare 5, integrated document management software. Together, DocuWare 5 and Captovation Capture provide a system allowing captured and indexed documents to be electronically archived and retrieved.
“Captovation provides DocuWare users with increased document capture functionality. From browser-based scanning and indexing to check processing, barcode, fax and e-mail handling, simple and easy scheduling of the transfer or ‘commit’ process from Captovation Capture to DocuWare is exactly what the market is looking for.” said Greg Schloemer, President of DocuWare.
DocuWare is an integrated document management solution that automates business processes by managing any type of document, regardless of format or source, in a central document pool. DocuWare provides powerful Enterprise Content Management (ECM) functionality for enabling expansion throughout an organization.
The integration is made possible by a Captovation developed commit driver
allowing Captovation Capture modules to commit (archive) document images
directly into DocuWare 5. This new commit driver enables administrators to map
capture fields from Captovation Capture to the defined search fields within
DocuWare. Not only will this commit driver allow for an easier configuration
process, but it also comes with the following enhancements providing added value
to the customer:
* Exact field name matches no longer required between Captovation Capture and DocuWare.
* Documents can be routed to either a workbasket or a file cabinet.
* Users can route documents to baskets on-the-fly via batch status.
“Many of our customers are using Captovation Capture with the DocuWare document management system. We are pleased to offer continuing integration support for the system by providing a convenient commit driver to make implementation between the two systems fast, easy and efficient," says Ken Peterka, President and CEO of Captovation.
