Danka Adds Kodak’s Complete Line of Document Scanners to its Portfolio
ROCHESTER, NY—With the addition of Kodak’s complete line of desktop, networked, and high speed production document scanners, Danka Office Imaging strengthens its comprehensive document solutions, spanning capture, management and output. Danka is one of the nation’s largest independent suppliers of office imaging systems, as well as the newest national KODAK Authorized Imaging Reseller (KAIR). Danka selected KODAK Document Scanners based on their proven ability to capture and process documents for high quality reproduction with a variety of output devices.
Now Danka’s customers can combine the proven image scanning speed and quality of the KODAK i1440 Scanner (delivers image capture speeds up to 75 pages per minute/150 images per minute at 200 dpi) with the reliable document output of the KODAK DIGIMASTER EX Digital Production System (delivers image output speeds up to 150 pages per minute) for a comprehensive digital production solution. The streamlined workflow allows images to be captured on the desktop and sent directly to the DIGIMASTER EX system for high speed output.
“At Danka, we offer a broad portfolio of imaging equipment and software from best in class manufacturers. The addition of Kodak’s class leading document scanners further strengthens Danka’s product offerings and our existing relationship with Kodak in the print production arena where Danka is the only national reseller and service provider for the award winning KODAK DIGIMASTER EX Digital Production System. With best of class products, Danka also provides our customers the consultative services and support from a nationwide team of experts to develop a document solution that increases our customers’ efficiency and productivity,” said Bill Troxil, President, Danka Field Operations. “We’ve added Kodak’s line of image capture products to provide our customers with high image quality, speed and advanced document processing to simplify business processes.”
Danka also cited Kodak’s recent Better Buys for Business Editor’s Choice, AIIM e-Doc Reader’s Choice, and the American Business Association’s Stevie awards as additional reasons for carrying Kodak’s Document Imaging products.
Danka specializes in creating comprehensive document solutions that streamline workflow and optimize document output for legal firms, learning institutions, the healthcare industry, and professional enterprise.
“Danka’s strength in these markets expands opportunities for us to provide capture solutions that make document management easier and more effective,” said Don McMahan, Vice President Sales, Regional Business General Manager, Document Imaging, US&C Region, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “Adding Kodak’s imaging products to Danka’s offerings provides customers with more options for comprehensive, end to end document management systems that help optimize business productivity.”
