Depot America Selected as Spare Parts Distributor by Hewlett Packard
Depot America, Inc. announced that it has been chosen as an authorized spare-parts distributor for HP printer parts by Hewlett-Packard Company. According to Depot America, the relationship will create immediate business for Depot America’s state-of-the-art parts servicing center, which will provide back-end support to HP dealerships around the world.
Robert Leonard, vice president of sales and marketing, Depot America, said that he is thrilled by HP’s decision to choose Depot America, as they have become widely recognized as one of the world's leading suppliers of printer remanufacturing services. The company has grown by over 150 percent since 1995, and recently added 8,000 square feet to its 30,000 square-foot servicing center to accommodate their rapidly expanding business. Plans are underway to further expand to 60,000 square feet within 18 months.
According to Leonard, Depot’s relationship with HP is one that has grown over the years, beginning with base level service support and culminating with the spare parts distribution status. Leonard said, “We are proud that we have progressed to the next level with HP, and we are excited to see where the future takes us. HP is the world’s leader in the printer arena, and we intend to reinforce that presence by providing their customers with the best quality service and the fastest parts and repair turnarounds in this industry.”
Will De Muth, marketing coordinator for Depot America, is also proud of the recent alliance and the implications it holds for Depot’s future. “Our entrance into the parts sales arena significantly expands our product line and customer-support capabilities. The availability of genuine HP parts to our existing customer pipeline means a lower cost of sale for us and added value for customers,” said De Muth.
