Digital Gateway annouces e-Views for e-Automate Release 3.5
Digital Gateway Inc headquartered in American Fork, Utah recently announced new enhanced capability provided by Release 3.5 of e-Automate software package. E-Automate is an Enterprise Software Package with an exceptionally powerful equipment service tracking, scheduling, billing and performance monitoring component.
”The single most anticipated feature of Release 3.5 is a component called e-Views” says Daron Jones, Customer Manager of DGI. “This features allows users to drill down and up through the e-Automate SQL data base to look at data relevant to particular items of interest like a customer’s contract or a vendor payment. A user may also begin at lower level of data, like a bank deposit, and view up to the customer related receivables that contributed to that deposit. Any e-Views data can be exported for further analysis in a spread sheet or inclusion in documents. In addition, a customer may create and save their own custom view for quick and easy monitoring of important data over a long term basis. Our Release 3.5 users also love this extended capability because in many cases it eliminates the need for custom reports” reports Jones.
DGI has just completed Stage 1 development of the next e-Automate release which is code named “Rainer” internally. This development will become Release 4.0 and has an extensive set of functionality which was prioritized by our new customer participating Product Steering Committee. This release contains a number of functional features geared to larger customers and multiple location functionality. Our customers tell us this will be another “huge” step in better serving our current and future customers. Look for this Release by 4th quarter of 2002.
DGI also has completed a joint business agreement with a third party company to provide integrated wireless “Gold Mine” connectivity to e-Automate system. This capability takes approximately 4 weeks from purchase to implementation and greatly enhances the real time capability of the Gold Mine user network. Where our competition has this capability also, theirs is a one way (view only) connection. Our connection allows information to be updated in the e-Automate data base via the Gold Mine connection. This is a huge difference.
