Dive into MFP Training
The LaserJet M3025mfp/M3035mfp/P3005 is a new series of multifunction printers based on the HPLJ3005 engine. Its lower price and convenient size will allow the smaller and mid-sized office groups to enter the world of multifunction printing. Because the two machines share the same engine, Parts Now! has created a blended course that covers both types of equipment, making it a great introduction to MFPs.
According to Steve Geishirt, director of training at Parts Now, “These particular models have been very successful in the marketplace. Also, this course is unique because it blends both MFP and printer training in a one-day class.”
For those technicians that would like to learn to repair MFPs in a hands-on, classroom environment, Parts Now! is introducing its new “combination” course in April. Students will learn digital copy theory and functions along with printer theory and function. Also included are image formation theory for both the printer and scanner, paper paths of the printer and ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), maintenance, menus and specialty menus, drivers, trouble-shooting and disassembly with a focus on common failure components.
The new course takes place April 11 at Parts Now! headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin. To learn more about Parts Now! Training, visit http://www.partsnow.com or contact a Parts Now! account representative at (800) 886-6688.
