DIVERSIFIED COMPUTER SUPPLIES (DCS) ACQUIRES STANTEK, LLC

ANN ARBOR, MI (January 3, 2011) Diversified Computer Supplies, Inc., is pleased to announce that it has acquired Stantek, LLC, the Kentucky based cartridge remanufacturer and contract manufacturer of Aerospace, Military and other Industrial products. Stantek is the most recent addition to the DCS Imaging Solutions platform and advances the Company’s strategy of becoming the focal point for independent dealers. The combined organization of Stantek and DCS now has over 125,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space in North America with a sales volume greater than 150,000 cartridges per month.

Brian Leek, Imaging Division President of DCS, had this to say "Stantek has a long history of producing both OEM and remanufactured laser cartridges at their ISO 9001 2008 facility. Additionally, Stantek maintains the AS9100 Quality Certification required for many aerospace manufacturing contracts. DCS continues to differentiate itself within the imaging supply industry by creating an unprecedented model where dealers can purchase remanufactured cartridges directly from a STMC/ISO 9001 2008 manufacturer and combine OEM products in a single shipment which can drop ship throughout the United States for 10:30am Next Day delivery. This acquisition will also continue to enhance the Brand Equity DCS has established for our partners through our MPS Program and compatible product lines."

Vaulty Tyree, General Manager of Stantek, added, "The synergies created by this acquisition will facilitate greatly increased value for the DCS and current Stantek customer base. This larger footprint will allow Stantek to take the next step in a higher volume, more cost effective production model to bring greater value while continuing to deliver the quality that Stantek has built its business around. With the growth and expansion for the upcoming year it will be an exciting time for the Stantek Team."

DCS is a leading North American distributor and manufacturer of imaging supplies with offices in Michigan, Florida, Quebec, and now Kentucky. The explosive growth at DCS over the past several years is attributed to a keen understanding of the needs of our dealers/resellers and the delivery of world-class solutions to fuel their businesses.

DCS customers have long taken advantage of superior pricing on OEM brands, such as Hewlett-Packard, Lexmark, Xerox, Sharp and others. Additionally, the development of the DCS Branding Strategy has created an unequaled platform where our partners can acquire the highest quality compatible brands such as TREND® and The Sharper Image®, a powerful MPS Program (OptiPrint™) for their customers and have confidence that their shipments will be delivered by 10:30AM Next Day across the country…from the only distributor/manufacturer in the industry today.

Stantek has a long heritage as a leading contract manufacturer located just outside of Lexington, KY. Founded in 2003, the facility and production team have nearly been continuously operating out of the same location since 1989, which was previously a Sanmina-SCI (NASDAQ:SANM) facility dedicated to the production of OEM toner cartridges.

The OEM manufacturing proficiency of the Stantek team helped create a new business model of remanufacturing toner cartridges. This core competency allows them to produce the highest quality products immediately upon entering the market. Stantek’s strategic advantages continue today and have enabled Stantek to expand beyond their original focus to produce a large array of remanufactured toner cartridges... supplying the highest quality cartridges to other cartridge manufacturers and reseller channels.
