DocSTAR Version 3.4 to Embed United States Postal Service Electronic Postmark

DocSTAR (Document Storage and Retrieval), is embedding the USPS Electronic Postmark (USPS EPM) in its latest software offering.

DocSTAR is a robust suite of software solutions that securely scans, stores and retrieves documents quickly and easily. DocSTAR is committed to providing digital document imaging solutions that simplify the complex, cumbersome world of paper and document management. By embedding the USPS EPM service, DocSTAR will provide its customers with an added level of integrity to their already sophisticated imaging solutions.

With Version 3.4, DocSTAR customers will be able to electronically postmark the aggregate record of what is included in daily filings. Applying the USPS EPM provides legal strength through automatic creation of an electronic "fingerprint", which serves as evidence of electronic file content. This fingerprint (or digital hash file) is then stored in a third-party repository, which enables users to verify content authenticity. As such, the USPS EPM serves as an invaluable non-repudiation tool.

"DocSTAR imaging systems already provide customers with ease of use, rapid deployment, flexibility, security, data protection, seamless integration and a fast return on investment", commented Thomas Franceski, DocSTAR's President. "Incorporation of the USPS EPM to version 3.4 adds to document integrity assurance and demonstrates our dedication to continually improving our products and services."
