DocuLex Launches WebSearch 3 Electronic Document Management Software
DocuLex, creators of electronic document management software, announces the launch of WebSearch 3. The Web-based retrieval program was developed for use throughout a business’ operations to enable secure, instant document access from any location. With the program’s new SQL database supporting substantial file volumes, it now serves as a document hosting facilitator for outsourcing daily-use information and backup storage of a company’s paper documentation transformed to electronic files.
Beneficial to the user is an interface and functionality akin to an Internet search engine’s key word query. The server-based software automates complex documentation organizational functions including full-text search of a terabyte of custom-foldered document files in under a second. This creates a low maintenance environment, ideal for small to mid-size business, departmental entities within larger organizations and hosting service companies.
The program manages SSL remote security and retrieval of various file formats including MSOffice, PDF, XML, CSV, RTF and email. It also provides activity tracking and retrieval logs assisting in compliance of privacy laws including HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Web Search is a component of DocuLex’s flagship Archive Studio, a portfolio consisting of open-system document management software including capture and retrieval programs tailored for a variety of business environments. Offered through resellers internationally, Archive Studio provides easy to use, productive in-house or outsourced instant document access.
