DocuLex Offers Component Document Image Processing and Management Software

DocuLex offers the Image Processing Studio (IP Studio), a collection of component programs enabling high-speed production image printing, OCR, image endorsing and PDF conversion. Each is designed to assist the document management function.

OCR Processing
Unlike standard Optical Character Recognition (OCR) packages, IP Studio is designed to accommodate the demand for reliable, high-speed full-text and zonal OCR production conversion of TIFF images to text. IP Studio also accommodates existing TIFF images.

High-Speed Image Printing
IP Studio supports high-speed printing devices for rapid blowback of graphic images. Printed images may contain production numbers and can be identified according to document unitization. The program enables printing capabilities exceeding the limitations of a digital copier's standard print function.

Image Endorsing
IP Studio provides the true method of electronic Bates numbering. Electronic production numbers are burned onto black & white TIFF or color JPG images. Abilities include original creation and renumbering of document batches, along with addition of customized page caption additions.

Conversion of TIFF Images to Searchable PDF Files
DocuLex IP Studio offers a productive solution for converting millions of scanned documents into fully searchable electronic files that can be easily managed and distributed in Web-based information management systems. These Portable Document Format (PDF) files maintain the image integrity of Group IV TIFF images. PDF files can be indexed and searched with Adobe Acrobat, DocuLex Search programs and other leading Intranet search tools.
