DocuWare Announces ISV Program
Germering/Munich - The new DocuWare ISV Program is designed to allow easy integration into the DocuWare Integrated Document Management product suite. The ISV Program provides many powerful tools to make this process as straightforward as possible and offers many advantages. Integration into DocuWare provides the opportunity for the ISV to expand their market potential while providing their users seamless integrated solutions.
The ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Program launched by DocuWare helps independent software houses expand their core business by adding Enterprise Content Management functionality to their existing solutions. The program reduces expensive development time and aids in securing the ISV's customers to the applications created. The alliance helps ISVs strengthen their position as innovative solution providers and as interesting partners to new resellers and system houses. These are all significant competitive advantages and revenue generators.
DocuWare supports ISVs with their integration process through numerous services, tools and products. Upon contractual agreement, ISVs receive the DocuWare SDK (Software Developer Kit) which includes the DocuWare Integrated Document Management Product Suite of software. In addition, the ISV has access to the company's proven eLearning Training program and courses. They are also provided detailed documentation of all DocuWare's development tools.
Supports takes many forms; from access to DocuWare's Developer Network website to the support hotline and direct contact with DocuWare's development team. Individual consulting services are part of the ISV Program as well as targeted promotion of their certified integration applications through a series of marketing activities.
The integration of Document Management in external applications is a direct extension of DocuWare's philosophy. Their products are built around one powerful, central document pool that houses all kinds of document types from a wide variety of sources. Documents can therefore be directly archived, retrieved and further edited within all kinds of office/industry-specific software, accounting programs, CRM, ERP and CAD systems. The exchange of documents within a team is then greatly simplified. Business processes across an organization can be more efficiently run. And overall productivity, particularly for mid-sized companies, is significantly increased.
As DocuWare President, Jürgen Biffar points out: "A close collaboration with other independent software providers will produce valuable synergies, for the software vendor, for DocuWare, but most importantly, for the user of both software solutions. This is clearly an opportunity and an advantage that we wish to intensify with the new ISV program."
