ECI² Releases Version 8.11 of Ensite Pro
Fort Worth, TX — eCommerce Industries Inc. (ECI²), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, has released version 8.11 of its Ensite Pro™ Office Products Edition software, the premier business system for the office products industry. Dealer profitability is a major focus of the release, which includes new tools to help dealers analyze their current profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins.
Enhancements to the software include a completely redesigned contracts application that dramatically simplifies building and managing customer contracts and enables dealers to develop competitive price plans while protecting their margins. Dealers can also use the application to experiment with different pricing scenarios, modifying costs or prices to see the impact on their profitability, without affecting their current contracts or price plans.
The contracts application is complemented by a new price modeling tool that makes it easy to view and analyze sales data across a dealer’s operation. Dealers can see the profitability of vendors, salespeople, customer accounts, price plans, orders and individual items, then experiment with the data and implement temporary changes to evaluate their impact on margins. These new applications provide independent dealers with tools for implementing the type of matrix pricing used so successfully by their power channel competitors.
Ensite Pro Version 8.11 also includes a new SQL Reporting tool, as well as significant improvements for dealers who sell office furniture. The software offers improved furniture delivery and installation item marking and Internet-based EOP with three more furniture manufacturers — Haworth, Kimball and National.
