ECi Adds Sales Director for Major Accounts

FORT WORTH, Texas – April 23, 2008 – eCommerce Industries, Inc. (“ECi”), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Todd Eakes to its corporate sales team. Eakes will be serving as the company’s sales director for major accounts. In his new position, Eakes will focus exclusively on large accounts, working with both prospects and existing customers across the various industries the company serves.

“I am extremely excited to join the ECi team.” Eakes said. “ECi has been the clear leader in delivering industry-specific business software for many years. Now I will be able to leverage its expertise and resources to provide dealers, distributors and suppliers with an expanded portfolio of technology solutions.”

Eakes’ background includes experience in manufacturing and operations as well as ERP system sales and implementation. He spent the early part of his career as a supply chain practitioner in a variety of roles, including planning, scheduling and inventory management. More recently, he has worked in consulting and sales positions for both large and small ERP software providers focused on various wholesale distribution industries, including office products.

Eakes has experience in post-sale implementation and project management for ERP software installations, and was a certified APICS instructor for The Association for Operations Management. He has developed and taught supply chain management courses for companies such as Caterpillar, i2 Technologies and UPS. He has also served in a number of teaching and advisory roles for colleges and universities in the Colorado area. Eakes holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and a BS in Industrial Technology from Colorado State University.
