ECi Integrates OMD with Payment Processor NET1

eCommerce Industries, Inc. (“ECi”), a leader in office machine dealership management software, is pleased to announce the integration of its OMD business management software NET1 Payment Solutions (NET1) a leading credit card processor and ECi Approved Vendor. This integration provides independent dealers using the OMD system with new options — and potentially lower costs — for credit card processing..

“Processing credit cards over the Internet is one of the fastest-growing payment methods in the office machine industry today,” said Laryssa Alexander, president of ECI’s OMD division. “Adding this credit card option to OMD provides more flexibility and convenience, as well as competitive pricing, for the dealers we serve.”

NET1’s Web-based gateway provides a direct uplink to the company’s processing service center from within the OMD system, with no set up required on the dealer’s part. Credit card transactions are automatically routed to NET1 for processing and authorization, eliminating the need to rekey transaction data. NET1 also supports Level III processing to reduce rates even further for companies making credit card transactions over $5000.

NET1 has extensive experience in implementing credit card processing for dealers using ECi business systems, with more than 400 ECi customers already utilizing the company’s services. NET1 also offers a wide range of related services, including merchant accounts, equipment, customer retention tools like gift and loyalty cards and online reporting.

Integration with NET1 is included in the new version 2706.0 release of the OMD software. This release is available now to all current OMD customers.
