eCopy announces 11th Consecutive Year of Revenue Growth
eCopy, Inc., a provider of document distribution and integration solutions, announced record results for the year ending June 30, 2004, its 11th consecutive year of revenue growth. The company's revenues grew 43 percent to over $30 million during the period due to increased customer demand for its document distribution and integration solutions.
"We had a landmark year in 2004," said Edward Schmid, eCopy president and CEO. "The growth was a result of the adoption of eCopy's technology as the method of choice for converting paper documents into an electronic format for use in enterprise systems, including document management systems, e-mail or other networked applications. Our products have set the industry standard for networked copier connectivity to business applications."
Along with continuing its record growth, eCopy achieved a number of milestones this year, including:
-- New customer implementations at a number of high profile companies including Sony Corporation, Clifford Chance, BP Amoco, Baker & McKenzie, Siemens, Cisco Systems, and KPMG International.
-- The launch of the award-winning eCopy ShareScan OP (Open Platform), the company's flagship product and the first commercial application available on Canon's Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform (MEAP).
-- The introduction of 13 new software "Connectors" that integrate the eCopy Suite with document management, cost recovery, and fax server applications from partners that include Documentum, Hummingbird, and Open Text. eCopy also signed agreements with more than 30 additional partners to develop new Connectors.
-- A 35 percent increase in staff to more than 135 eCopy employees worldwide.
-- The establishment of a new eCopy subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan and a new eCopy office in London, England to meet growing global demand for document distribution solutions.
