Ed Carroll, Former VP/GM of IKON Office Solutions Named Principal at Strategy Development
Bryn Mawr, PA (September 23, 2008) - Strategy Development, a management-consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Ed Carroll has joined the firm as a principal. In this role, Ed will concentrate in the practice areas of print management, sales effectiveness, professional services, operational/financial process improvements through industry benchmarking, and business planning.
Carroll has an extensive background in the imaging industry with experience in all areas including financial, operational, sales and professional services. As Vice President of IKON’s Capital Marketplace, Carroll had P&L responsibility for a $150 million unit. In this role Ed earned the prestigious Chairman’s award for superior operating results. Prior to this assignment, Carroll was CEO and Chairman of CyLex Systems Inc., a venture funded document management company acquired by Ricoh in 2003.
Carroll had a distinguished career at Panasonic, where he was President of Panasonic Document Imaging Company as well as President of Panasonic Document Systems Company, their direct operation he planned, acquired funding and started in 1995.
