CORAL GABLES, FL—Equitrac Corporation, a leader in document accounting solutions, addressed the newest changes in legal document communication and storage by announcing two new cost recovery products that track and report scanning costs.  Adding to existing print, copy, fax and phone cost tracking, Equitrac Professional v3.5 and Equitrac Professional Enterprise Edition v4.6 (Equitrac Professional EE v4.6) now incorporate Equitrac’s ScanPost technology to track scanning data, as well, continuing Equitrac’s history of providing the world’s most comprehensive document accounting solutions.

ScanPost is software that captures, records and reports scan activity for cost management and recovery.  Using this technology, Equitrac Professional v3.5 and Equitrac Professional EE v4.6 can work directly with scanners to record and allocate scanning activity.  By adding Equitrac’s PageCounter and PageCounter Professional Control Terminals to provide access control and validated client allocation, ScanPost also enables detailed reporting and client billing.  Additionally, ScanPost is designed to integrate with embedded document delivery technology from leading device manufacturers, including Canon, Ricoh and Xerox.
