Explosive Growth Leads to New Facility at Depot America!

Depot America, a leading supplier of component level printer support services, has announced the opening of its new 11,000 square foot facility. The space, located on Route 34 in Neptune, New Jersey is mainly devoted to servicing Canon’s popular Bubble Jet printers.

“The new facility is a result of the business Canon awarded us. The company has recently experienced a substantial influx of business due to an alliance with the camera and printer giant. Under the agreement, the company has become the depot repair site for all warranty exchange programs for Bubble Jet printers, FAXPHONE facsimile machines, MultiPASS multifunction devices, and scanner products. Depot America’s expert staff repairs and delivers these products to Canon customers often within one business day. Depending on the warranty, some customers are even provided with refurbished products before they send their unit in for repair,” stated Depot America’s Dave Dailey, Manager of Distribution, and Fulfillment.

In addition to housing this service, a significant portion of the facility is dedicated to research and development so that Depot America can continue its commitment to forming new printer-related offerings. Since its inception in 1987, the company has already launched dozens of services ranging from fuser assembly manufacturing to CoreWatch, a fully automated system that streamlines the process of managing printer parts.

Dailey isn’t surprised by the growth Depot America is experiencing. In his three-plus years with the company, he has seen sales erupt to record levels and watched its office space expand time and again. “On average we have grown about 33 percent annually, and we show no sign of slowing down now. In fact, we plan to expand the headquarters facility again in December.” Said Dailey.

Hired as Customer Service Manager in October of 2000, Ms. Boardman's original duty was solely to oversee the ten-member customer service team. Now, as Depot America continues to grow in size and add to the services it provides, Ms. Boardman's responsibilities within the company increased. As Client Service Manager, she will supervise the inside sales team of six in addition to her previous charge.
