FMAudit Introduces Identity Mapping Technology

PHOENIX, AZ - FMAudit has introduced Identity Mapping Technology (IMT) into it's family of products. IMT identifies printers and copiers, even when there is no serial number present. Historical audit results consistently match up with the correct device identity, leading to accurate results, less manual intervention and seamless data exchange with ERP and billing systems. "Combined with WebAudit, dealers may now eliminate customer side installation and maintenance of software, and further in-house human intervention required by other systems." stated Kevin Tetu, VP Technology, FMAudit "We're providing imaging dealers with a truly scaleable enterprise solution for automating meter collections, thereby reducing day-sales-outstanding and costly reconciliation processes."

Identity Mapping further aids in the process of seamless data exchange with 3rd party applications by substituting appropriate manufacturer names, model names and equipment ID's recognized by those systems. Likewise, dealers benefit by associating their consumable part numbers, yields and costs for minimized inventory, automated supplies replenishment and service dispatch and ultimately, maximum equipment uptime.

FMAudit has included Identity Mapping into it's latest releases of Viewer USB; for rapid print assessment, Onsite; for automated remote meter collection, and WebAudit, FMAudit's newest addition for meter collection. WebAudit doesn't require any software to be installed or maintained on the customers network. The dealer configures when emails are to be sent to each customer. The emails contain a link, that when selected, displays the meter collection module in the customers web browser. All results are posted back to the dealers office, with further options to validate the meters prior to posting to the ERP system and submit unconnected device meters. By leveraging IMT, results are fed seamlessly into the ERP system for invoicing.
