FMAudit Launches OnSite Software
FMAudit™, the makers of the award-winning Viewer USB™ offerings, announces the public release of the much-anticipated OnSite™ software. OnSite leverages the same data-collection engine and Hyper Meter Technology™ that has accelerated the worldwide adoption of Viewer USB.
OnSite software resides on the customer’s network. It quickly and easily captures the same in-depth print asset data, including meters, as does Viewer USB. The difference however, is that the user no longer needs to be physically present to invoke the process; it is fully automated. OnSite is transparent to the end customer. It automates the frequency of when to collect the information, as well as, where, when, and in what format, to send the data.
FMAudit OnSite was developed and brought to market under the same guiding principles as the Viewer USB; Rapid Print Assessment™ tool. Feature and functionality is specifically designed for the dealer to deliver value to the end customer. From training to installation to user experience; everything has been architected for simplicity and flexibility. Like all offerings within the FMAudit product suite, OnSite requires little-to-no customer IT support and is non-intrusive to their network infrastructure.
“OnSite takes full advantage of Hyper Meter Technology, released last year, whereby immediately elevating our core software’s value,” stated Kevin Tetu, VP of Technology with FMAudit. “OnSite has been built to enable the dealer to cross the chasm and migrate the customer engagement from pre-sales assessments to post-sales management through automated metering. In addition, OnSite is not an ASP-based design. The decision to share the collected data is dealer privilege. Therefore, the data collected is secure and confidential.”
The need for manufacturer-neutral meter gathering is growing steadily. Most customers’ print strategies include output devices from multiple manufacturers. The rising quantity of multiple-line dealers has also contributed to the diverse print asset environments. And, in addition to automating the meter gathering of a dealer’s managed devices, OnSite also collects meters on non-managed assets. This helps the dealer respond to the emergent customer demand for consolidated Fleet Management. Additionally, it provides on-going usage data, whereby the dealer can inspect the environment on a constant and consistent basis, to identify additional opportunities for engine consolidation, print cost reduction, and implementation of added-value programs like Cost-Per-Copy.
“Through automating meter collection and submission, OnSite removes the human element from the process, resulting in a reduction – even elimination – of costly clerical errors, which is the root of expensive reconciliation practices,” affirmed Greg Allen, VP of Operations with FMAudit. “Additionally, because OnSite can collect and submit the meters at a specified date, the billing cycle is more timely and accurate. Similar to the credit card industry, the customer pays for only the usage within that billing period, again eliminating another common problem that leads to pricey resolution activities.”
“OnSite represents yet another giant leap forward for the dealer community. The amount of time an average Account Representative spends resolving customer billing issues is estimated at 20% or higher. With OnSite, sales productivity is greatly enhanced, resulting in more time to capture incremental core-product revenue,” stated Rich Piper, President & CEO with FMAudit. “In addition, Day-Sales-Outstanding (DSO) is also reduced, resulting in a better return on their dollar. We look forward to continuing to help our partners stream line processes, enabling them to truly Fulfill the Digital Promise™."
