FMAudit to Participate in Office Document Technology Forum
Jefferson City, MO – FMAudit, a leading provider of Managed Print Services (MPS) technology, will participate as a sponsor at this year’s Office Document Technology Forum taking place November 7-8, 2007 at the Boston Marriott Quincy.
The Office Document Technology Forum (ODT) will attract industry influencers and trendsetters for 2 days of information sharing, partnership building and networking. This year’s forum will focus on the theme: “Day of Disruption.” With disruption there is opportunity. ODT delivers the details on what is occurring in the market, provides insight into the future, and shows how to seek out opportunity in this rapidly changing industry. The event will uncover the important elements of recent technology advancements, strategic industry partnerships, and innovative changes to historical business models. More importantly, ODT will help you understand what these changes mean to you and your business.
During the event, FMAudit will demonstrate the next generation MPS technology. For example, WebAudit, which leverages the Internet to collect print asset data quickly & easily, non-intrusively, and with little-to-no-customer IT support. How it works; an email is sent to the end-customer informing them it is time to collect asset data. It includes a button or link. When clicked, it automatically launches their web browser, ready to perform the action. The end-customer simply follows the process - ‘Start’ & ‘Save’. Done. Nothing to plug-in, nothing to install.
Additionally, FMAudit will highlight Adaptive Service Management (ASM). ASM is the critical middle-layer technology between machine generated error codes and the dealer’s ERP system. Dealers use ASM to create templates with management algorithms associated by contract type. For service error codes and consumable low alerts falling outside those parameters, ASM provides the platform to add further business intelligence on an account or asset-class basis. Without ASM, the ERP would be inundated with non-dealer service related issues, ultimately eroding their service margins and operating profit.
"By default the results are filtered to reflect the dealers managed devices. This ensures the end-customers receive unprecedented service resulting in increased customer retention and satisfaction," stated Kevin Tetu, VP Technology. "In addition, ASM records results for competitive assets. When you combine this new source of reliable and quantitative data with historical audit results, it translates into high impact proposals for up-selling and/or competitive knockout opportunities."
