Four Lanier Digital Multifunction Systems Win Better Buys for Business Editor's Choice Awards for 2001

Lanier Worldwide, Inc. announced that the Lanier 5635 and 5645 Digital Copier/Printer/Fax Scan Systems and the Lanier 5515 and 5518 Digital Copier/Printer/Fax Systems have all earned the Better Buys for Business Editor's Choice Award for 2001.

Better Buys for Business is a publisher of independent buyer's guides for office equipment, and reserves its Editor's Choice Award for the systems its expert staff believe deliver the best total value in their class.

Better Buys for Business touted the Lanier 5635 and 5645 as “some of the strongest multifunctionals in the mid-volume copier market today,” noting the systems' affordable pricing, exceptional technology and environmentally sound design. The Lanier 5515 and 5518 received similar accolades for their standout performance in the low-volume segment.

To create its annual buyer's guide, Better Buys for Business evaluates models from all major manufacturers. Each one must undergo a series of rigorous analyses, which help experts evaluate the system's features and compare it with competitive systems. Only those models that deliver the highest levels of performance and the best consumer value receive the Editor's Choice Award.
