GreatAmerica to Offer Managed Print Services Sales Training


Cedar Rapids, IA (Feb. 2010)– GreatAmerica Leasing Corporation will offer an industry-first Managed Print Services (MPS) sales training program at their corporate headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, March 23-25, 2010.  The program goes beyond MPS theory and addresses hands-on sales strategy and deal crafting.  Instructors include Steven Power of Sales and Marketing Solutions International and MPS expert Kevin Morris.

“The GreatAmerica business model continuously challenges us on how we can help our dealers be more successful and grow their business,” said Jennie Fisher, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Office Equipment Group at GreatAmerica.  “We see a need in the industry for this type of training to help dealers move their MPS programs forward faster and with better results.”

The training will include Steven Power’s two-day course entitled MPS Sales 101 for Beginning to Intermediate MPS Sales Process Implementations.  This coursework is targeted for an organization ready to implement MPS but struggling with managing and accelerating the MPS sales process. 

Kevin Morris will teach a one-day MPS Sales 201 Advanced MPS Deal Crafting, Case Study and Best Practice Sharing.  The 201 coursework will be highly interactive with participants working through actual deals and presenting to their peers to evaluate.  This class will be specific to organizations that have been through the MPS sales process and have had some deals won and lost to reference.  Participants may enroll in one or both courses depending on their training needs.
