HP Launches Large Format Media for Graphics and Retail Market

HP has released two new additions to its inkjet display graphics portfolio, the HP Two-View Cling UV Media and the HP Instant Dry Photo Media -- Universal. The new media will reduce the time needed for printing and drive down the cost of printing display graphics. The new HP Two-View Cling UV Media is the first product of its kind in the display graphics market. The UV durable translucent film is designed for reverse printing. Print service providers and reprographic houses targeting the retail market can now avoid sandwiching multiple layers of paper together. The Instant Dry Photo Media – Universal, available in gloss and semi-gloss, suits many applications from window display to hanging display graphics. The low-cost photo paper dries instantly due to the porous technology allowing work to be laminated and mounted within seconds of printing. This solution is ideal for print service providers and graphic designers who often work to tight deadlines. “HP has created the two new media specifically to meet the different needs of the retail and graphic design markets. The graphics market needs a flexible solution that is quick drying and of a good quality. The retail market requires high quality with exceptional fade resistance.
