Imaging Portals, Inc. Names Worth Probst as President and CEO
A forty-year veteran of the document imaging business, Mr. Probst began his career in sales and sales management at Xerox Corporation. In 1975, he founded University Copy Systems, which grew to be one of the largest independent Canon dealers in the United States. As president of one of the premier color copier resellers in the US, Probst recognized the need for color RIP solutions to service his customers. Dissatisfied with the alternatives, Probst founded Colorbus in 1990. Colorbus grew to become one of the world’s largest and most successful manufacturers of color printing solutions.
As an entrepreneur with a substantial track record of successful start-up technology ventures, Mr. Probst is confident that Imaging Portals has a bright future.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to lead Imaging Portals,” said Probst. “IPI has developed a powerful asset management solution for the document imaging industry. As the former president of a multi-million dollar copier dealership, I can appreciate first-hand the value that IPI brings to its customers. By focusing 100% on Device-to-Business, I am confident that Imaging Portals will extend its leadership position in this emerging industry.” Mr. Probst, a southern California native, holds an MBA from Northwestern University.
