This year the conference is packed with the latest information and developments in the industry. Web Consulting and Xaar will discuss ink jet developments in China that will effect us all - The Dragon Awakes! We have two new technologies - ToneJet and FlatJet - the future of wide fixed arrays from Spectra, details of Creo's latest proofing technology and HP will describe their latest ink jet platform for SOHO markets. Flint Ink's Digital Division will forecast the increasing influence major ink companies will have on the industry, and Avecia and SunJet will discuss the choices between UV and solvent-based formulations. On the media side Kodak and Torrey Pines will present results of tests on the degradation of images from atmospheric and other contamination. This year we are running four sessions focussed on the latest developments in digital production printing, digital printing for packaging & display, digital decoration and digital printing as part of a manufacturing process. Scitex Digital Printing, HP Indigo and MAN Roland will discuss how their ink jet, toner and conventional ink technologies are faring in the marketplace, and Hans Andriese will give the results of a 'mystery shopper' survey of digital print. Scitex Vision, Xeikon and Gerber Scientific will cover the screen replacement, packaging and signmaking developments with Gretag Macbeth discussing the colour control issues with production ink jet systems. The use of digital printing for decoration is increasing very rapidly and Dotrix,API Foils, Gemplus and DuPont will describe developments in the laminate, foiling, plastic card and textile markets respectively.
