ISM CEO Novak Named to FAIR Institute Board

Tempe, AZ (August 2009) — Supply management executive Paul Novak, CPSM, C.P.M., A.P P., has joined the board of the Federal Acquisition Innovation and Reform Institute (FAIR). Novak is CEO of Tempe, Arizona-based Institute for Supply Management (ISM).

FAIR is a nonpartisan, non profit organization whose mission is to innovate and reform the federal acquisition system. FAIR’s board of directors is comprised of leaders in acquisition and supply management from private industry, government and academia.

Novak has extensive experience driving excellence in professionalism and knowledge in supply management. As ISM’s chief executive, he has led governance and operational changes that have raised the profile of supply management within public and private organizations.

“Supply management has gained great respect over the years because of our willingness to collaborate and share information with key constituencies,” Novak says. “I support FAIR’s similar goals to effect change and achieve world-class government contracting and acquisition by forging stronger links between policy and execution.”
